   DANCE TEAMS 2011

All Team Dancers must  be studying in the disciplines that they plan to compete in.
All Team dancers will use Team10 punch Cards.            

This years away competition dates are:               
February 18-20 in Paramus New Jersey for the EDC, the ENCORE Dance Competition
April 2nd at Step Up 2 Dance Competition in West Springfield Mass.

Our local competition is at the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck NY on August 24, 26 & 27.

There will be an additional away convention for the RDC Elite’s TBA.
Either Feb 25-27 Paramus NJ with ShowbizTalent, and/or Headliners in Springfield on April 8-10.



RDC DIAMONDS  - must maintain  a minimum of 3 classes per week which includes one ballet  class, and two classes
of choice in addition to any team practices. Dancers will rehearse from 2 :00-5:00 during Sept-Dec.  on the 1st  Sat. of
every month at SDS and the and 3rd Sat. of every month at RDC.   The RDC Diamonds Dancers have no solo
requirements.  RDC Diamonds  perform and compete with the Broadway Dancers for large group pieces.
THE BROADWAY DANCERS must maintain a minimum of 3 classes per week which includes one ballet  class.  
BROADWAY Dancers will rehearse from 2 :00-5:00 during Sept-Dec. on the 1st  Sat. of every month at SDS and the and
3rd Sat. of every month at RDC. The RDC Broadway dancers must maintain a minimum of one solo entry for all
competitions. Additional solo’s are  permitted and encouraged as well. The Broadway Dancers dance, perform and
compete with SDS Showbiz Dancers and RDC Diamond.                                                 
ELITE DANCE TEAM must  be participants in the Performance Awards Program and maintain a minimum of 4 dance
classes per week of which 2 must be ballet plus a minimum of two competition solo’s. For those on Elite Team, Miss
Ann's "Company Class" may count as one ballet class as  well. Elites will practice every Saturday Sept. thru April . The
first Sat of the month at SDS, 2nd Sat of the month at RDC, 3rd Sat. of the month at SDS and the 4th Sat. of each month
will be for Elite Dancers Solo’ & Duo’s only, and will be held at RDC. The RDC Elite dancers perform, compete and
dance with all teams.
Sugar Plums and Nutcracker's
Rehearsals will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of
the month for all ensemble dancers & soloists  from
1:00-4:00 PM
Full cast practices will be held on the 2nd and 4th
Sunday of the month.
